Some people reporting problems with upgrading jScompass
Several people have reported problems to me in upgrading to jScompass Paid, the ad-free version of jScompass. The problem seems to center on the “Transfer Therebucks to jScompass_Upgrades Members” page, where the money is actually sent from your avatar to mine. I have checked this page, and all of the payment function, many times as a result of these problems, which were first reported when I first started offering the upgrade back in November. However, the problem continues. Up until now, I have been manually upgrading people whenever they IM me without much trouble.
Starting today, if you contact me for a manual upgrade, I’m going to be asking you to retry the transaction through a list of instructions, and if it still fails to then copy the URL and also exactly what happens when you click the “Transfer Funds” button. If it still doesn’t work, I’ll also be asking for permission to send our conversation regarding the issue to There Customer Service for help. Of course, I will then also manually process your payment and upgrade you.
As a reminder, you need to make sure you complete the “payment amount” field before clicking the Transfer Funds button.
I want There to realize this problem DOES exist and hopefully they can offer a workaround or a permanent fix to the issue.
