Version 1.34 now available

jScompass version 1.34 is now available which corrects a potentially serious problem with the ad results reporting function in some cases where the connection to the streaming FLV ad is interrupted during playback (connection dropped, etc.).  I am extremely sorry to release two updates in a single day, but I am committed to fixing serious bugs and releasing those updates immediately.  I consider this bug serious because it affects the servers that jScompass uses to function.  I hope you can understand why this is important.

In addition, I have introduced a new feature in the Update function that many people may like.  When the Update pop-up appears from now on, you will have the choice to update “Tomorrow”.  If you click that button, you will not get update notifications for 24 hours.  I always recommend you update to the newest version of the compass as soon as possible, but I know there are times when you cannot do it immediately.  I created the “Tomorrow” button for this purpose.  Thanks to Mistyy2290 for giving me this idea.

Have a nice day everyone.

Earlier:

jScompass version 1.32 is now available, which fixes a bug in the ad platform that would allow you to skip a video ad in some cases.  Thanks to brojoe44 for reporting this problem.  Because this bug affects the ad system from which the future of the compass is really based (due to its need to pay for itself), all prior versions of jScompass will be expired in an accelerated time compared what you may be used to.  A notification has been added to make sure you handle your upgrade issues now, rather then wait until the compass no longer operates to do so.  This will be my normal practice with bugs involving the advertising platform.

Thanks for your understanding.
